In a world full of material, social and spiritual poverty, men and women continue to experience dissatisfaction, disappointment and disillusion on a daily basis. We see this every day in social media, when we read the newspaper or when we watch the news. However, you don’t need to travel thousands of miles to witness this. In fact, you probably don’t even need to leave your street. The society in which we live in is full of people with unmet needs – many have lost hope.

As Christians, we are called to reach out, help those in need and to be a beacon of light and hope to those who are lost. It is no easy task and it is definitely not a one-man show! In an increasingly secular society that has grown cold towards God, living out a life that is pleasing to Him remains a challenge and requires a great deal of encouragement and support.

The ministries at GLCC were created to give Christian adults, youth and children the opportunity to be part of a family in Christ and to grow together in knowledge and love for a God who wants to bring hope and life back to this weary world.
