Living In The House Of Grace

Grace! At Green Lake Calvary Church we talk about Grace a lot. And as Christians, we say Grace is amazing! But what is Grace?  

In music we have "Grace" notes.  Before meals, we say "Grace." Banks offer a "Grace" period.  Yet, these uses of "Grace" don'thelp me paint a picture of God's Grace.  

Most often we use the term "Grace" in reference to our salvation. Ephesians 2:8,9 makes clear we are saved by Grace.  But if we focus primarily on these verses we can give Grace the wrong shades.  Unintentionally, we paint Grace exclusively as a door we walk through to get to Heaven.  

But Grace is so much more!  As we open our eyes to the many hews of Grace, we find Grace is not a door we walk through, but a house we live in everyday of our lives.  The beauty of Grace is amazing for our salvation, but Grace colors everything about our
lives as well!  Let's broaden our pallet and paint a beautiful picture of Living in the House of Grace!
